PURPOSE:To increase a frequency and an efficiency by continuously supplying a holding current to a saturable reactor through a controller, a reactor and a diode by utilizing the counterelectromotive force of the saturable reactor. CONSTITUTION:A DC power source 1 and a switching element 2 are connected in series at a primary side of a transformer 3, and a saturable reactor 4 is inserted and connected between the secondary side output terminal of the transformer 3 and an output rectifier. The series circuit of a diode 5, a reactor 7 and a controller 8 is connected in parallel with both ends of the reactor 4, and a diode 6 is connected in parallel with the reactor 7. A holding current continuously flows to the reactor 4 through the controller 8, the reactor 7 and the diode 5 by utilizing the counterelectromotive force of the reactor 4.
