<p>PURPOSE:To secure the deceleration control and simplify the control device, by introducing the exhaust pipe pressure to the actuator of a waste gate valve through a switch valve which is converted according to the car speed. CONSTITUTION:The pressure chamber 26 of the actuator 26 of a waste gate valve 20 is linked to an intake passage 4-2 at the upper stream of a compressor 8 and to an exhaust passage 6-1 at the upper stream side of a turbine 10 through a switch valve 34. The switch valve 34 is controlled to open and close by a control unit 42 according to the car speed signal from a car speed sensor 40. Although the intake pipe pressure is fed to a pressure chamber 26 through the switch valve 34 in an ordinary condition, the exhaust pipe pressure is introduced to the pressure chamber 26 by switching the switch valve 34 when the car speed exceeds a specific value. Therefore, the actuator 22 is operated by the exhaust pipe pressure, which is stronger than the intake pipe pressure, to open the waste gate valve 20, and the supercharging pressure is reduced to decelerate the car speed.</p> |
