PURPOSE:To improve working accuracy, to reduce the consumption of liquid helium and to obtain a mounting space of a safety valve by forming a transfer tube of an integral material from a flange to a liquid helium reservoir. CONSTITUTION:A torque tube 1 is supported by bearings 2, 3 and rotated. Superconducting field coils 4, 5 are mounted in the tube 1, and a liquid helium container 6 is provided on the outer periphery thereof. Liquid helium is exhausted through a transfer tube 9a from an outlet 10, and fed into a liquid helium reservoir 12. The tube 9a is formed in an integral structure from a flange 34 to the outlet disposed at a position arriving at the reservoir 12. A safety valve 30 and a control valve 35 are mounted on the flange 34. thus, a small space can be efficiently utilized. |
