PURPOSE:To correct the traveling error of a titled vehicle in such a way that a light is projected upon location indicating boards installed along the reference traveling path from a projector fitted to the unattended carrying vehicle and the inclination and distance between the reference traveling path and the present traveling path, which are to be used for correcting the travelling error, are obtained from the reflecting light. CONSTITUTION:As an unattended carrying vehicle 1 approaches a location indicating board 5, a projector/light receiver driving and revolution controlling device 14 scans and detects turning reflection plates 5a and 5b on the location indicating board 5 by using a projector 16 and a light receiving sensor 15 in accordance with a command from a central processor 9. The processor 9 computes an angle alpha between a reference traveling path l0 and the present traveling path l1 and a distance from a location P4 and a plane K from the amount of revolution and traveling distance given to the device 14 based on the detect signal of the sensor 15. Moreover, the processor 9 calculates a path l2 which is used for returning to the reference traveling path l0 and stores the information in a corrected traveling path information memory 11. By driving the unattended carrying vehicle 1 in accordance with the information, the traveling error is corrected and the vehicle can make any proposed traveling. |
