PURPOSE:To enable uniform bubbling operation, to prevent a back flow of molten steel and to stabilize a continuous casting by setting an inner brick at a top part of a long nozzle and forming plural communicating slits for introducing and blowing inert gas and air pockets at each slit part. CONSTITUTION:Inert gas is uniformly introduced from an introducing hole 5 to the connecting slits 8 through the first air pocket 6, and is joined at the second air picket 7, and then is uniformly distributed by communicating slits 9 for flowing to introduce into the hollow part of the nozzle. Therefore, as the inert gas is spread round the circumference of a circle as perfectly uniform state by the second air picket 7, the uniform bubbling is obtd. Further, even if the back flow of the molten steel happens, it prevents the trouble caused thereby, as the molten steel in the second air pocket 7 is cooled and solidified, and thus, the continuous casting operation is stabilized to improve the casting billet quality. |
