PURPOSE:To deliver a fixed quantity of material onto a ground conveyor by combining a hydraulic controller and a control mechanism for cutting an instantaneous excessive quantity of material which can not be controlled hydraulically by means of a cut gate. CONSTITUTION:Upon exceeding of a differential pressure produced from a differential pressure detecting section over a predetermined level, the rotary speed of a bucket elevator 10 is adjusted from a first constant speed to a lower second constant speed, thereby a hydraulic motor 21 is controlled to maintain said low speed condition for predetermined time. With such control, when a large quantity of material is fed to the bucket for relatively long term, the capacity for delivering the material onto a ground conveyor 2 is lowered and a fixed quantity of material is delivered. When the detected differential pressure is lower than a predetermined level, the material is carried with a rated speed onto the ground conveyor 2 and the fixed quantity delivery is disabled. Consequently, the vertical fixing position of a cut gate 40 is adjusted and the quantity of material to be delivered onto the ground conveyor 2 is regulated.
