PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for a spring member for applying a back tension to an ink ribbon, reduce the number of component parts and the number of assembling steps and contrive a reduction in cost, by providing a resistance member for giving a resistance to feeding of an ink ribbon, at an intermediate part of a feeding passage on the side of drawing out the ink ribbon. CONSTITUTION:A projected piece 17 is provided on one of inner surfaces of side walls 15, 16 constituting a feeding passage for an ink ribbon, while two projected pieces 18, 19 are provided on the other on both sides of the protected piece 17. The projected piece 17 on one side is located between the two projected pieces 18, 19 on the other side. The ink ribbon 6 is guided in contact with tip parts of the projected pieces 17-19, and receives frictional resistances from the tip parts of the projected pieces. With such resistances given to the feeding of the ink ribbon 6, a fixed back tension is exerted on the ink ribbon being drawn out, and accordingly, the need for a separate back tension spring is eliminated, the number of component parts can be reduced, and the number of assembling steps can be reduced. |
