PURPOSE:To reproduce an excellent picture at the pickup of a white object by providing an A/D conversion circuit corresponding respectively to a composite video signal and two kinds of color difference signals and a storage circuit read optionally by an operation processing unit to measure a color difference signal waveform in the inside of a color television camera digitally. CONSTITUTION:Color difference signals 1, 2 are inputted respectively to signal pre-processing circuits 5, 6, and a composite video signal 3 from a color television camera is inputted to a signal pre-processing circuit 7 and a synchronizing signal separator circuit 8. Outputs of the signal preprocessing circuits 5-7 are converted into digital signals by A/D conversion circuit 11-13 and stored in storage circuits 15-17. When a series of required data write is finished, a CPU 18 gives an address signal and a read control signal in the storage circuits 15-17. Thus, the programmed address is accessed from the storage circuits 15-17, the data required for measurement and evaluation is read by the CPU 18, the data is subjected to operation processing and displayed on a display device 19.
