PURPOSE:To enhance working efficiency and reducing working time through eliminating the need for a laminator equipped with an automatic paper-supplying mechanism in laminating a printed matter, by releasably laminating a transfer layer on each side of a base. CONSTITUTION:The printed sides of printed matters 21 and 21' are brought into contact with the surfaces of transfer layers 12 and 12' of a protective member, respectively. Under this condition, only the back sides (the sides not printed) 21a, 21'a of the printed matters 21, 21' are exposed, and the order of lamination is 21', 12', 11, 12 and 21. A set of the member and printed matters thus laminated is subjected to a thermal fixing treatment by a laminator, followed by releasing the member and the printed matters from each other. As a result, the two printed matters for which transfer has been finished are obtained, and one sheet of a waste base is generated. Namely, the period of time required for protecting the surfaces of the two printed matters is reduced by about one half. |
