PURPOSE:To relieve the load of an information processor side by storing a binary code data converted by a multi-frequency signal conversion section and informing it to an information processor when the data is stored up to a present digit number. CONSTITUTION:When an incoming call comes from a telephone line 1, a line reply section 2 informs the incoming call to an information processor 20 through a signal line 14. While a reply signal is received from the information processor 20 through a signal line 13, the line is blocked and a series of multi-frequency signal coming from the telephone line 1 is received and given to a multi- frequency signal conversion section 3. A digit number setting comparison section 9 compares the count of a counter 8 with a digit number inputted from a digit number input line 11. When then are coincident, interruption is given to the information processor 20 through a signal line 15 and the storage of a binary code data for a requested digit number is informed to a memory 4. It is not required for the information unit to always supervise the information coming from the telephone line or the like and to extract the inputted information in this way, then the processing by the information processor side is reduced remarkably.
