PURPOSE:To make sealing members replaceable and perfect sealing property maintainable even when slight wear occurs on a rod-like valve body or on the inner wall of a through-hole and consequently improve the durability of a mixing head by a method wherein the sealing members are imbedded in the axial direction between the jets of respective raw material liquids onto the outer peripheral surface of the rod-like valve body which is fittingly inserted in the through-hole and/or into the inner wall of the through hole. CONSTITUTION:In the main body 23 of a mixing head 21, a through-hole 25, into which a rod-like valve body 51 is fittingly inserted so as to be able to slide axially, is bored on the extension of the sprue of a mold. Circulating flow passages 29 and 33 of liquids A and B are simultaneously open and closed by reciprocating a single change-over plunger 41. Sealing members 61 are plate-like fluoroplastic members with nearly trapezoidal form in section, the upper side of which is arcuate, and imbeddedly implanted in two dovetail grooves 63 formed on both sides of the rod-like valve body 31. When a shielding valve part 57 shields jets 28 and 32, the outer peripheral surfaces of the sealing members 61 contact closely with the peripheral wall of the through-hole 25 so as to prevent the liquids A and B from leaking peripherally through the shielding valve part 57. |
