PURPOSE:To obtain the well joined clad material of laminating structure by passing through a rolling mill by wrapping the overlapped plate material of dissimilar metal with the wrapping material having higher strength than that of the plate material and by cutting the wrapping material open after joining the overlapped plate material each other. CONSTITUTION:The plate materials 5, 7 made of a metal A and that 6 made of a metal B are overlapped alternately and the periphery thereof is wrapped by the cylindrical wrapping material 12 composed of the metal C having higher strength than those of the metal A, B. These plate materials 5, 6, 7 are passed through the necessary stage of a hot rolling or warm rolling after performing a slight cold rolling on the wrapping material 12 so that the plate materials are closely fitted each other. After completion of the rolling stage the clad material 4 of laminating structure is taken out by cutting the wrapping material 12 open. In this way the clad material combined surely and strongly can be manufactured. |
