PURPOSE:To automatically classify a band member, by classifying data entered according to predetermined kinds and providing a plurality of transfer members which approach to and retract from the band member in response to a control signal according to the respective kinds for thereby controlling the transfer direction of the band member. CONSTITUTION:Data is entered to a printing sheet 16 as a band member by a printer 15 and a sheet cut by a cutter 17 is transferred in a direction shown by an arrow A3 by a roller 18. The roller 18 is driven by a motor 19, pulleys 20, 21, and a belt 22. A rotative shaft 26 located downstream of the roller 18 is provided with rollers 24, 25 at its opposite ends which approach to and retract from the sheet 16 by moving upwardly and downwardly. The rotative shaft 26 is driven by the pulley 21 and a belt 23 and at the same time driving sources 32, 37 move swinging members 27, 27' at the shaft end upwardly and downwardly in accordance with the kind of data entered to the printer 15. The sheet 16 is discharged in a direction of B2 when the rollers 24 and 25 are depressed, in a direction of B1 when only the roller 24 is depressed, and in a direction of B3 when only the roller 25 is depressed. With such an arrangement, a remote control of classification of slips is effected easily.
