PURPOSE:To provide a flame-retardant compsn. having excellent weather resistance and suitable for use in injection molding, by blending an ethylene/alpha-olefin copolymer with a chlorinated PE, EVA, a specified flame retarder or flame- retardant aid, Mg or its hydroxide and a fatty acid amide compd. CONSTITUTION:A compsn. consists of an ethylene/alpha-olefin copolymer (A) having a density of 0.900g/cm<3>, a m.p. of 106-130 deg.C, an Mi of 0.01-100g/10min and 3-35, 1-10C alkyl groups on side chains per 1,000 carbon atoms in main chain, a chlorinated polyethylene (B) which is (non)crystalline and has a chlorine content of 20-50wt%, an ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA) (C) having a vinyl acetate content of 1-25wt% and an MI of 5.0-30g, a halogen-contg. org. compd. (D) and/or antimony oxide (E), magnesium and/or aluminum hydroxides (F) and a fatty acid amide compd. (G). |
