PURPOSE:To carry the sheets without jamming by forming the gap between a pair of guide members at a corner larger than those at the inlet and outlet sections of the corner. CONSTITUTION:At the corners A and B, the centers O1, O2 of curvature of the curved faces 12, 13 of a guideboard 3 are positioned while being shifted by (delta) in the separating direction from the centers O3, O4 of curvature of the curved faces 15, 16 of a guideboard 2. Since the gaps at the corners A and B of a carrying path 6 are formed wider tan those at other portions of the carrying path 6, the leading edge of a sheet S is led through the sheet carry-in sections 17, 20 into the wide corner sections A, B. Furthermore, when the leading edge of sheet is brought in contact against the outside guideboard 2 and the advancing direction of sheet is defected toward the sheet carry-out sections 19, 21, the sheet S is bent along the curved faces 12, 13 of the inside guideboard 3 and carried reliably to a further downstream carrying path without jamming.
