PURPOSE:To improve the operability by displaying the content of a preset information storage means storing the information relating to a storage section with no reception station data written in through automatic preset so as to recognize the storage section in which no reception station data is written yet. CONSTITUTION:The titled equipment is provided with a preset information storage circuit 20 and a display means 23. In operating an automatic preset key, a control section 7 clears a data in a present station data storage section 6 to rewrite the data into a data corresponding to a minimum frequency of the reception band and clears the information in the present information storage circuit 20 and changes sequentially the data in the storage section 6 so as to increase the reception frequency of a tuner section 2. In this process, a signal is given to a switch 11 and the information storage section 20 based on the signal representing the presence of a reception station by a level decision circuit 9, the data in the storage section 6 is written in a memory area 101 of a memory 10 and the information is written in an area corresponding to the area 101 in the information storage section 20. The operation above is repeated as to all the reception bands. When the automatic preset is finished, light emitting elements 231-235 corresponding to a channel selection key finished for the preset are lighted.
