PURPOSE:To attain a telex communication for a document by connecting a telex adaptor in a way that an adaptor is regarded as if it were an external extension disk from a work processor. CONSTITUTION:The telex adaptor 200 is controlled by a microcomputer and connected to the external extension disk port 109 of the work processor 100. In receiving a data from a telex communication line 300, a telex communication control section 201 starts a reception notice sending task 203 as son as the data is received and informs the presence of the reception data to the word processor 100. When an operator needs a received document, the received information of a reception management table 215 of the telex adaptor 200 is read, an extension disk driver 103 is used and an object reception document is read from the reception file 217 of the telex adaptor 200. Thus, the document received by the telex communication is used by the work processor.
