PURPOSE:To obtain a trimming photographing effect and a photographing effect based upon a telephoto lens only by one camera by forming two trimming modes and opening diaphragm in the 2nd trimming mode as compared to the 1st trimming mode. CONSTITUTION:Every depression of a photographing mode selecting button 3, a normal photographing mode and a trimming mode are alternately switched. When the trimming mode is selected, a trimming mode switching button 4 switches a trimming A mode having the sharrow depth of field and a trimming B mode having the deep depth of field. When a trimming B mode selecting signal is inputted to an exposure operation control means, an exposure value to be calculated is controlled without correction, but at the input of a trimming A mode selecting signal, a normal exposure value is calculated and the prescribed exposure value is corrected so that a stop value is set up to the open side to execute exposure control. Thereby, photographing having shallow depth of field can be attained.
