PURPOSE:To optionally set a main station and a slave station by connecting remote supervisory devices having both main station functions and slave station functions with each other by a public line. CONSTITUTION:A PIA (peripheral equipment interface) 13 within a remote supervisory device is connected to an automatic transaction processor within an shop, and a bit of supervisory information which represents the operating state of the automatic transaction processor is inputted. And the bit of supervisory information is transmitted and received between plural supervisory devices through an NCU/modem 14 connected to the public line. Therefore, by making operate a device so as to receive the bit of supervisory information from an other remote supervisory device, the supervisory device functions as the main station, but, by making operate the device to transmit the bit of supervisory information to the other remote supervisory device, the remote supervisory device functions as the slave station, therefore, the main station or the slave station can be set optionally. |
