PURPOSE:To stabilize acetate kinase, by adding a low-molecular thiol compound to acetate kinase. CONSTITUTION:A low-molecular thiol compound (N-acetyl-cysteine, cysteine gluthathione, dithiothritol, dithioerythreitol, mercaptoethanol, etc.,), an SH- containing compound, is added to acetate kinase. pH is usually 6-10 and the concentration of the low-molecular thiol compound is >=1mM deg.C, preferably >=10mM deg.C. A lyophilized acetate kinase-containing aqueous composition to which a low-molecular thiol compound is added has low deactivation of acetate kinase during lyophilization and has high stability of acetate kinase as a lyophilized substance.
