PURPOSE:To improve combination accuracy by detecting the weight of an article in each article storage part by a calculating method which subtracts the weight of articles in article storage parts except a specific article storage part from the total weight of articles in the respective article storage parts. CONSTITUTION:This scale consists of plural weight detecting means 2 and one combinational arithmetic means 4. The means 2 have at least two article storage parts 6a and 6b. Then those are provided with a metering part 8 which generates the total weight signal of articles in them and also provided with >=2 storage means 10a and 10b corresponding to the storage parts 6a and 6b. Consequently, the means 10a and 10b are stored with the weight of articles in corresponding article storage pats. The total weight signal of the metering part 8 and the stored values of the means 10a and 10b are supplied to a weight arithmetic means 12, which obtains the article weight in the storage part 6a or 6b by subtracting the stored value of the storage means corresponding to the other storage part from the total weight signal of the metering part 8. Then, it is stored in the storage means corresponding to some article storage part. The means 4 performs combinational arithmetic by using respective means 10a and 10b of each means 2.
