PURPOSE:To realize the characteristic of an even order number of an add order number without increasing the hardware of a filter circuit by switching the delay order number of a sample data used for the filter operation into the even order number or the odd number order in response to the even/off parameter. CONSTITUTION:A digital musical tone waveform sample data TDX outputted from a tone generator 18 is inputted to adaptive digital filters ADF 21 and 22. A pitch synchronizing signal PS1 of the 1st-8th channels is inputted to the ADF 21 and the pitch synchronizing signal PS2 of the 2th-16th channels is inputted to the ADF 22. The ADFs 21, 22 fetch the data TDX of a channel corresponding to a time slot generated in the pitch synchronizing signals PS1, PS2 at the inside and the filter arithmetic operation is executed with respect to the 1st sample data of the channel. The unit time of the filter arithmetic operation is synchronized with the pitch of the musical signal, then the filter of the moving Format characteristic is realized.
