PURPOSE:To obtain the titled element capable of depressing a yellowing of a white ground, and a deterioration of a gloss due to a storage of colored image for a long period by controlling pH of the coated film of the photographic constituting layer formed on the reflecting substrate body, and by incorporating a mat material composed of fine particle powders having the prescribed average particle size to a photographic constituting layer which is the most far away from the substrate. CONSTITUTION:A silver halide photographic sensitive material composed of a silver halide photographic sensitive emulsion layer contg. at least magenta coupler (preferably additionally a yellow coupler and a cyan coupler) and the protective layer contg. the mat material and formed on the reflective substrate is image-wisely exposed, followed by effecting a color developing process to form a photographic constituting layer carried a color image obtd. by reacting each couplers and the oxidant of the color developing agent thereon. The obtd. photographic constituting layer is effected to the process of stabilization, as the final photographic processing step. The pH of the coated film of the photographic constituting layer is adjusted to 2.0-6.0 by adding 0.001-1.0mol ammonium compd. per 1l of a processing liquor. And the average particle size of the mat material contg. in the protective layer is 1-10mum. |
