The present invention relates to cladding having a plane surface and which is sealed both horizontally and vertically. It consists of three categories of parts, the parts 1, the parts 12 and the parts 25, which are assembled by simple installation, by forked mortice and tenon joints and overlapping and held by battens 24 fixed to rafters or to any pre-assembled frame. Its uses are multiple since it may be used to cover the outside or inside of walls of new, domestic or industrial constructions, or ancient buildings and it may also form a wall by itself.
