PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for a costly production installation by constituting a titled disk by using the laminated layers of resin substrate in which information such as digital signals like a pit string or guide grooves is contained, metallic foil of a prescribed size and protective sheet made of a resin of a prescribed size. CONSTITUTION:The metallic foil 8 made of Al having 1-50mum, more preferably 5mum thickness is provided on the resin substrate on which the digital signals like the pit string are contained, and the protective sheet 9 made of polycarbonate having several - several hundreds mum, more preferaby 500mum thickness is laminated thereon. The manufacture of such optical disk is executed by laminating the metallic foil 8 and the protective sheet 9 on the resin substrate 2 and pressurizing the same by a pressurizing device (not shown) to tightly adhere the substrate 2, the metallic foil 8 and the protective sheet 9.
