Device intended for passing electrical wires into a sleeve. The invention relates to a device using the energy of a magnetic flux 1 which keeps the end of the wires immobilised by means of a steel insertion head 2 subjected to the flux and to which the wires are fixed 4, the sleeve being slipped over the assembly comprising the wires and insertion head. The device can be integrated into a work surface comprising sleeving pay-out/brake devices, an apparatus 11 for cutting the sleeving with a progressive-attack blade 12, the actual device consisting of two elements: a magnetic-flux emitter and insertion head; and a ring 10 for gripping the wires together and wire pay-out/brake devices 8. The device according to the invention is intended for firms installing electricity in buildings. <IMAGE>
