PURPOSE:To suppress the fluctuations and vibrations of a disk by providing projection parts opposite respective arms which support respective heads to clamp a disk and regulating the motion of the disk in disk thickness directions. CONSTITUTION:An S0 arm 1 is provided with projection parts 11 and 11 across an S0 head 3. The projection parts 11 have a flexible member 11a atop and their overall height is so determined that the members 11a contact the reverse surface of the floppy disk D. Then, an Si arm 4 is provided with projections 12 and 12 opposite the projection parts 11 and 11. The projection parts 11 have a flexible member 12a atop as well as the projection parts 11 and their overall height is so determined that the members 12a contact the top surface of the disk D. The projection parts 11 and 11, and 12 and 12 regulate the motion of the disk D in the disk thickness directions to suppress the fluctuations and vibrations of the disk.
