PURPOSE:To ensure the soundness of an equipment, piping and valve, etc. which are apt to be easily damaged by the sea water, and to maintain the function of these, by providing a mat floor with a curve for preventing dew drops containing a salinity in a condenser and a sea water piping from being diffused. CONSTITUTION:Curves 23A and 23B are provided at the nearest position to condensers 15A-15C, sea water intake pipings 6A-6F and sea water discharge pipings 13A-13F. A plurality of sleeves 26 are evenly mounted to the curves 23A and 23B. A rubber plug 27 is connected through a chain 28 to each curve 23 so as to be fitted to each sleeve 26 for the purpose of completely stopping the water. There are also provided curves 22A and 22B higher than the curves 23A and 23B between turbine beds 21A and 21B and turbine beds 21G and 21H, respectively. Furthermore, leakage detectors 24A-24C are provided to detect dew drops overflowing the curves 23A and 23B and gathered in side channels 25A-25C, and an alarm is give to a patrol.
