<p>PURPOSE:To obtain not only supply of hot water but also hot air for heating in a water heater, by providing an outer casing having a space for a cooling heat exchanging passage around a flame cylinder, and by providing a hot air damper, corresponding to a hot air opening formed on the outer casing, to the cooling heat exchanging passage. CONSTITUTION:An air intake port 32 is provided to a flame cylinder 3. It can be opened and closed by an air controlling damper 30 of which damper angle is changeable. A hot-air opening 35 is provided on the side wall of the outer casing 15 of a flame cylinder 3 in the neighborhood of an air controlling damper 30, and an ON/OFF hot air damper 37 is provided to the opening 35. A louver 41 and a hot air guide plate 44 are provided to an hot-air blow-off port 39. In such a constitution with a tap-controlled water heater, combustion air is fed into the flame cylinder 3 by a fan 19 provided on the top of a flame cylinder 3. The air is fed to a burner 21 through a cooling heat exchanging passage 17. At that time the air in the cooling heat exchanging passage 17 can be blown off from the hot air blow off port 39 by opening and closing of the hot-air damper 37 for use of air heating.</p> |
