PURPOSE:To obtain a synthetic resin reinforced pipe wherein the shape of a ridge becomes uniform at each part, by spirally winding a metal shape holding material, whose outer surface is coated with a molten synthetic resin and which has a C-shaped cross-section, around a pipe wall and, at the same time, thermally fusing the coating layer to the pipe wall. CONSTITUTION:A pipe wall 1 is formed by spirally winding a tape like molten synthetic resin 11 around the rotary core connected to a rotary driving source 3 while overlapping the same. A molten synthetic resin is introduced into the extrusion hole 61 of an extrusion molding die 6 under pressure from an extrusion molding machine while allowed to pass through a metal shape holding material 7 having a C-shaped cross-section to which surface treatment was preliminarily applied to form a coating layer 8 comprising the molten synthetic resin to the outer surface of the metal shape holding material 7 and the coated shape holding material 7 is spirally wound around the pipe wall 1 to thermally fuse the coating layer 8 to the pipe wall 1 and a spiral ridge 2 is integrally provided to the pipe wall 1. Therefore, even when the height of the ridge is made relatively high in the cross-sectional shape of said ridge, the shape of the ridge is prevented from deformation and becomes uniform at each part.
