PURPOSE:To protect the head of a child effectively by arranging at least three layers of cushion material at a portion for supporting the head from the rear, thereby exhibiting sufficient shock-absorbing effect. CONSTITUTION:Three layers of cushion material 13-15 are arranged at a portion above the seatback section 11a of a body 11 where the head of a child is supported from the rear. A rearwardly recessed step section 16 is formed at the upper portion of the seatback section 11a to contain the innermost layer cushion material 13 formed with, for example, urethane chips to be thicker than two other layers 14, 15. An intermediate cushion material 14 is formed with, for example, urethane chips while the outermost layer cushion material 15 is formed with urethane form to be stretched entirely over the seatback section 11a and the seat section 11b.
