PURPOSE:To prevent variations in a toe-in value and a steering characteristic from occurring, by making an elastic bush, supporting a lower arm, free of rotation, and constituting a lower arm fulcrum shaft in making it eccentric to a turning shaft of the bush. CONSTITUTION:Having a motor 26 operated, an elastic bush 13 is properly rotated via a rack 25 and a pinion 27. For example, a fulcrum position D of a power arm 10 is situated at the right of the center C of the bush 13. With this configuration, the lower arm 10 is rotatively displaced counterclockwise centering on an elastic bush 12, whereby a knuckle 15 also shifts to some extent. Accordingly, the knuckle 15 receives pressing force of a tie rod 17, and is rotatively displaced clockwise centering on a king pin 14, thus a toe-in value is increased. If the fulcrum position D is situated at the left of the center C, the toe-in value decreases. With this constitution, the toe-in value can be kept constant so that a steering characteristic variation is preventable. |
