PURPOSE:To control the attitude of a crew to the optimal condition automatically by displacing or deforming a seat according to the travelling condition even under travelling of vehicle. CONSTITUTION:Upon abrupt start of an automobile to detect the acceleration (a) by means of a sensor means 21, a control means 22 will control a lumber support actuator means 15 according to the acceleration and the actuator means 15 will project a lumber pad 14 automatically forward in accordance with the control means 22. Consequently, such phenomena as the back of crew is burried in the seatback 10 can be prevented. While upon abrupt turning of automobile to detect a lateral G by means of the sensor means 21, the control means 22 will control a body actuator means 6 and a side support actuator means 13 in accordance with the lateral G.
