PURPOSE:To lessen the weight of filter paper to be conveyed and save labor and time required for conveyance by drawing out the filter material, which is not usable any more because of accumulation of finely divided particles in the liquid, from the pressurizing tank. CONSTITUTION:The section 8 to draw out the filter material, having the slit 7, passing through the wall of pressurizing tank 5, closed during filter operation and opened at the time of drawing out the filter material, is provided. Then through the said slit 7 opened when the operation stops, the filter material 2a on the first layer, which is not usable any more because of accumulation of mixed-in finely divided particles in the liquid drawn out of the filter material 3 to be wound in is drawn out from the pressurizing tank 1 by stopping the filter operation and starting the drive source for drawing 9 consisting of the driving roller 9, the guide roller 9b and the driving motor 9c with the reduction gear. After the said process, the said filter material is sent into the receiving container 10 for conveyance having a number of drain holes dropping down from the filter material, without winding, or otherwise is wound.
