PURPOSE:To facilitate adjusting of the height of a seat cushion by providing interlocked coupling means dismountably to two shafts for enabling up/down motion of the seat cushion through rotation. CONSTITUTION:When removing the front and rear sprockets 6, 7 and a chain 10 or an interlocked coupling means for adjusting the height of seat, the positions of the front and rear sections can be adjusted independently without moving a seat cushion horizontally. When fixing said interlocked coupling means and employing a same gear ratio in the front and rear sprockets 6, 7, it can be used as a parallel lifter while when fixing said interlocked coupling means and employing different gear ratios in the front and rear sprockets 6, 7, a pseudo-parallel lifter or a seat cushion can be lifted or lowered while simultaneously the angle can be regulated.
