PURPOSE:To restrain a diaphragm from tilting as well as to prevent the occurrence of variations in an exhaust-gas-recirculating flow rate, by installing a valve stem and a bearing, receiving a shaft tip of a position detector, in a central part of the diaphragm driven by suction negative pressure. CONSTITUTION:Forming a negative pressure chamber 3 into which suction negative pressure is led by a case 1 and a diaphragm 2, one end of a valve stem 4 is locked to a central part of the diaphragm 2. At the other end of this valve stem 4, there is provided with a valve body 8 capable of being seated on the valve seat 11 installed at the exhaust pipe side of an exhaust passage 10 interconnecting an exhaust pipe and a suction pipe of an internal combustion engine through formed in a body 9. In addition, a bearing 7 is attached to a central part of a surface of the diaphragm 2 at the opposite side to the valve stem 4, making it receive a tip of a shaft 6 of the position detector 5 attached to the case 1 with a screw 15. And, the position detector 5 is made up of installing a bearing consisting of plural spherical bodies so as to make the shaft 6 retractable smoothly even if radial load is added to this shaft 6.
