The hydraulic clamping strip is suitable for clamping tools on presses, in the case of which T-grooves are present in the upper tool and/or slide. The upper tool can be introduced without problems during replacement by means of the rollers which are present in addition, which results in a considerable reduction in setting periods. As the hydraulic clamping strip is arranged beneath the slide, the entire clamping surface can be used for the upper tool. Double-action tension cylinders in the upper part enable the clamping strip to exert its clamping action on the insides of the T-grooves. Compressed oil is supplied by means of two screw connections on the end face.
