A wagon having a pair of drive wheels (4a,b), a pair of front casters (2a,b) and a pair of rear casters (3a,b) is disclosed. A pair of support members (7a,b) extending parallel to the direction of travel each have an intermediate portion pivotably mounted on the lower surface of a deck (1). Each of the pair of front or rear casters (2,3a,b) and each of the drive wheels (4a,b) are coupled to the opposite ends of each support member (7a,b). Each drive wheel (4a,b) is driven independently by each drive unit (8a,b). The arrangement facilitate the negotiation of bumps without losing traction of the drive wheels. <IMAGE> |
