PURPOSE:To improve the sensitivity of the obtd. organic photosensitive body by forming an anthanthrone pigment of an electrostatic charge generating material to a fine grain. CONSTITUTION:The anthanthrone pigment is dissolved to sulfuric acid followed by recrystallizing it with a poor solvent, and the obtd. crystalline is milled adding an org. solvent to it. As said poor solvent, all solvent which is hard to dissolve the anthanthrone pigment is used. For example, said solvent comprises water and ethanol. The recrystallization method of said pigment lies in that one pts.wt. of the anthanthrone pigment is dissolved to 10-20pts.wt. sulfuric acid followed by pouring it into 1,000-2,000pts.wt. water. The obtd. recrystallized anthanthrone pigment is milled with the org. solvent such as dichloromethane and tetrahydrofuran, etc., to obtain the fine grains of said pigment having about 0.05-0.1mum. |
