PURPOSE:To share one storage device with plural terminals by storing the track, at which the magnetic head of the storage deice is located, for respective terminals in the storage device, and when a certain terminal requires the service, restoring to the finally accessed final track position by the terminal. CONSTITUTION:A track position register 21-1 is included in a disk interface 10. A track position register 21-2 at the storage device side corresponds to the track position register 21-1 and is connected to a storage device track position designating register 24 by a multiplexer 23. The multiplexer 23 selects one of track position registers 21-2 corresponding to these respective terminals A-C and is connected to a storage device track position designating register 24. A present track position counter 26 for the storage device is to show the number of a track in which a magnetic head exists presently and physically. A comparing device 25 compares the contents of the storage device track position designating register 24 and the present track position counter 26 for the storage device and the signal to show the size relation between them is outputted to a head position control circuit 27.
