PURPOSE:To obtain the titled toner capable of using for a positive polarity toner and having large bathochromic effect. by incorporating a polyiodocopper- phthalocyanine having 2-7 iodine substituents as a coloring agent to the titled toner. CONSTITUTION:The green toner having the large bathochomic effect is obtd. by using the polyiodocopper-phthalocyanine for the coloring agent instead of the polychlorocopper-phthalocyanine and the polybromocopper-phthalocyanine even if in case of decreasing a negative polarity controlling property by lessening the number of the substituents of the iodine atoms. Thus, the obtd. toner is used for the positive polarity green toner having the larger bathochromic effect. The polyiodocopper-phthalocyanine is obtd. by substituting all or a part of the substituent R of the substd. copper-phthalocyanine shown by the formula with the iodine atom. The number of the iodine substituents of the polyiodocopepr-phthalocyanine contd. in the green toner is a range of 2-7 in case that said toner is used for the positive polarity toner. |
