PURPOSE:To obtain a stronger correlation between real data and compensating data than the case when enlarging and processing a picture by using picture data for displaying and to obtain the sharp and enlarged picture by performing the enlarging processing of the picture by the use of all the picture data. CONSTITUTION:In order to display all the picture of an edited picture at first, the display picture data is transferred from a memory device 7 to a display picture memory 6, displayed on a display device 9, while seeing it, a desired parameter required for the enlarging processing is inputted by an I/O device 10, and an enlarged area is displayed on the display picture displayed on the display device 9. When the enlarged area is set the most suitably, the parameter for matching the set enlarged area on the display picture to the area on all the picture is set and the enlarging processing for the picture is performed by the use of all the picture data. In this case, by applying interpolation data to data in a picture element except for the real data, the enlarging processing is performed. |
