PURPOSE:To apply the pre-processing simply in a read time by means of an ITV part by providing the 1st, 2nd RAMs, the 1st and 2nd control means, an arithmetic circuit, a normalizing circuit, the 1st and 2nd registers and an output means. CONSTITUTION:An input picture inputted at a picture input period from an ITV camera 11 is operated with a picture element data read alternately from the 1st, 2nd RAMs 21, 22 by an operation circuit 15 and the result of operation is normalized by a normalizing circuit 16. An output data relating to an even number picture element data among output data of the normalizing circuit is latched by the 1st register 17 and an output data relating to an odd number picture element data is latched by the 2nd register 18. The output data of the 1st register 17 is written in the 1st RAM 21 in the read cycle of the 2nd RAM 22 as required and the output data of the 2nd register 18 is written in the 2nd RAM 22 as required in the read cycle or the 1st RAM 21. Thus, the pre- processing such as noise rejection or shading correction or the like to the input picture is attained simply by the ITV section in real time.
