摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a liquid crystal display device having excellent quality and visual sensation characteristic without decreasing yield by using a compo nent having fluorine atoms for at least either of a carboxylic acid anhydride and diamine and incorporating the polyamide acid obtd. by bringing the carboxylic acid anhydride and diamine into reaction into the titled compsn. CONSTITUTION:The component having the fluorine atoms is used for at least either of the carboxylic acid anhydride and diamine and the polyamide acid obtd. by bringing the carboxylic acid anhydride and diamine into reaction is incorporated into the above-mentioned compsn. For example, 2, 2-bis[4-(3,4- dicarboxyphenoxy)phenyl]hexafluoropropane is used as the carboxylic acid anhydride contg. fluorine and, for example, 2,2-bis[4-(4-aminophenoxy) phenyl]hexafluoropropane is used for the diamine contg. fluorine.
