A drawer slide includes a moulded plastics ball cage (22) which includes a rectilinear row of apertures, each of which contacts an associated ball (21) at two diametrically opposite positions (25,26) only. The surfaces (25,26) which are part-spherical have a radius substantially equal to the radius of the ball. The boundary of each aperture is also partly defined by opposed party cylindrical surfaces (27,28). A clearance exists between each ball and each respective surface (27,28). <IMAGE> |
