PURPOSE:To eliminate the necessity of an accumulating section which keeps recording paper, on which the pictures of the 1st faces are recorded, at the time of double-face copying so as to miniaturize a double-face copying machine, by reading pictures in a digitized state and once storing the read pictures, and then, copying the stored pictures on the recording paper by an electrophotographic process. CONSTITUTION:The pictures of the 1st original of double-face copying are stored in a buffer memory 14 and, at the same time, the 2nd original is left positioned on contact glass 201. When the pictures of the 1st faces of the originals of 2nd on are recorded, the stored picture information is read out and used. The pictures of the 2nd faces are recorded by using those read by a scanner 200. Therefore, the necessity of keeping recording paper, on which the pictures of the 1st original are recorded, inside a copying machine is eliminated. |
