PURPOSE:To make high speed shifting possible by a relatively simple constitution by providing a shifting means of 1 byte unit, a shifting means of 1 nibble unit and a shifting means of 1 bit unit, and operating each means properly according to the number of shift requesting bits. CONSTITUTION:A TO register 12 is the TO register of 8 bits and capable of shifting 1 bit unit up to the maximum of 3 bits by an output signal of a controlling circuit 11. A Ti register 13 is also the T1 register of 8 bits and capable of shifting 1 bit unit up to the maximum of 3 bits by the output signal of a control circuit 11. The gate circuit 14 of 8 bits connects or cuts off an internal bus 6 and the TO register 12 by the output signal of the control circuit 11. The gate circuit 15 of 8 bits has a function to store higher 4 bits out of inputted 8-bit data in the lower 4 bits of the T1 register 13 and store lower 4 bits in the higher 4 bits of the TO register. By selecting and operating these means properly shifting can be made in a short time. |
