PURPOSE:To prevent the failure of recording due to mis-operation by recording a source outputted from a speaker unless a user dubs the source consciously even if a dubbing switch is turned on in case of recording of the source other than a tape. CONSTITUTION:Only when a dubbing switch 3 is turned on and a reproducing- side cassette deck 7 is in the reproducing state, a contact 113 and a common contact 111 are connected by the output signal with respect to the connection state of a recording signal changeover switch 11. In the other cases, the recording signal changeover switch 11 is so controlled that a contact 112 and the common contact 111 are connected. That is, the reproducing-side cassette deck 7 is always selected by an input source changeover switch 2 independently of turning on/off of the dubbing switch 3 unless the deck 7 is in the reproducing state, and the source outputted from a speaker 6 is recorded.
