摘要

In the method flue gas containing SO2 is brought into contact with a recirculating suspension that contains a calcium compound in an absorption tower, an oxygen- containing gas is blown into the suspension and the redox potential of the suspension is then measured and the flow rate of the oxygen-containing gas controlled so that calcium sulfite in the suspension is fully oxidized. Simpler and more effective regulation of SO2 elimination is achieved in the method.
