<p>The Microbook is an electronic method of storing and displaying for reading the contents of a literary work in the memory and on the flat screen 2 of a portable hand unit. The Bookgenerator is the container in which the Microbook is inserted to permit a computer to transmit data to the Microbook memory. The flat screen 2 may use a liquid crystal, plasma, vacuum or TV type of display. An item to read is selectable via a numeric keypad 11. Buttons 4,5 enables pages to be turned forward or back. Character size, image intensity are selected via 6,8. The book may include a memory board, disc or cassette for storing input data.
